An Aboriginal girl in Kalgoorlie is alleged to have called victim, Mellissa Blackney, a "white slut", and is facing a maximum of six months' detention. Had she not been a juvenile at the time of the alleged offence, a term of up to five years in prison could be imposed, and the most serious offences under the legislation attract a penalty of 14 ...
