May 29, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Telstra's claims that it was overcharged by Alcatel have been confirmed. In late May 2006 a document was tabled in the Australian parliament, giving details of 15 years of problems between the telco and the French technology company. Alcatel Australia-New Zealand head, Chris Milne, conceded on 29 May that the company made an error in not bringing down its prices.
