Copper 'megacycle' but production won't pick up until next year.

Apr 01, 2007 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Copper production is expected to increase from as early as 2008, which could bring prices of the commodity down to $A3 a pound. Allan Trench, copper research manager for the Commodity Research Unit, predicts that copper prices should start to decline by December 2007, with the market going into surplus in 2008.
