Union boss gives Rio notice on contracts.

Jun 05, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A union leader wants access to the workers of Rio Tinto under an Australian Labor Party government. The mining company moved its staff to individual contracts in the mid-1990s. Labor has pledged to abolish Australian workplace agreements if elected federally later in 2007.
