Jul 02, 2007 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian-listed AGL Energy is contributing to a study into the export of LNG from Papua New Guinea. ExxonMobil is leading a study into a potential LNG export project worth over $A11 billion. The study is expected to cost $US60 million ($A70.1 million) and AGL has provided modest funding. Paul Anthony, AGL's MD, says the study will increase the prospect of commercialising AGL's share of the gas reserves.
