ABIX via COMTEX) -- Xanadu Wines' MD, Andrew Moore, has reiterated the company's interest in Norman Wines' assets. On 30 July 2001, Norman Wines was placed into receivership following the failure of merger negotiations with Xanadu. Norman's debts were believed to be $A60m, while in 2000 its assets were estimated to be worth $A90m. Moore says that Xanadu is interested in a number of Norman brands, plus the Clarendon and Eringa Park wineries in South Australia.
