ABIX via COMTEX) -- D-Auction is set to launch an Internet exchange for government and off lease vehicles in August 2001. Entitled D2D Market Place, the site will also feature a used car wholesale auction service. Belinda York, managing director of FairMarket Australia, says that the venture shows how the Internet can help businesses to save money. D-Auction is owned by the Motor Traders Association of Australia and Macquarie Bank.
