ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Internet Industry Association (AIIA) warns that spam electronic mail (e-mail) is at epidemic proportions. Unsolicited e-mail sent in a bid to sell a vast range of products is responsible for turning many people away from the Internet, the AIIA warns. Internet service providers are currently seeking strategies to block spam from reaching users.
