ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Commonwealth Bank of Australia has announced that it is to offer an account aggregating service. Aggregators unify users' disparate online accounts and e-mail into one page. The online service will be provided for free and will use screen-scraping software from Parker's Edge. In order to meet concerns expressed by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission, the bank's aggregator sites will require the user to "refresh" each account. The Commonwealth is the first Australian bank to launch aggregators.
