ABIX via COMTEX) -- Gold Coast property marketer, Dudley James Quinlivan, initially owned a plumbing business on the Gold Coast. He was placed in bankruptcy in 1982. He established an international tourism and resort development operation in the 1980's with his son, Stephen. In April 1992 Quinlivan had debts of $A13m and Stephen had debts of $A17m. They offered a deed of arrangement to repay $A225,000 each but failed to meet this commitment and were declared bankrupt in 1994. Quinlivan then became a senior associate with the Epic Group run by Christopher Bilborough until 1998.
