ABIX via COMTEX) -- Glencore International's coal assets, renamed Enex Resources, will list on the Australian Stock Exchange in September 2001. The $A4bn initial public offering will be launched on 7 August 2001 in Sydney. Over $A500m in scrip will be offered to retail investors. Glencore is expected to retain a controlling interest in Enex of up to 60. Analysts believe that the European mining corporation will raise $A2bn through the offer. Enex will become one of the world's top four coal producers.
