ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Internet World 2001 conference has been hosted in Sydney, New South Wales. During the conference, George Bray, an ambassador for the Internet Industry Association's Digital Bridge taskfoce, unveiled the IAA Cisco Tech Trek. The Trek aims to promote the power of broadband technologies. A specially equipped bus will make trips to regional parts of Australia, promoting technology such as wireless Ethernet and satellite telephones.
