ABIX via COMTEX) -- A Westfield executive, based in the World Trade Center, was unaccounted for 24 hours after the terrorist attack. Westfield, Australian shopping centre owner and manager, operates the retail complex at the center. Responding to an Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) request for information on the welfare of its US staff, Westfield officials said nine other staff in the building were safe. Other Australian global operators to give the ASX a 100 per cent safety clearance on their US staff include the Westpac Bank, AWB, Commonwealth Bank, Telstra and Amcor.
