ABIX via COMTEX) -- New supply chain management (CRM) solutions are starting to emerge on the Australasian market. The latest in CRM technology is called demand chain management (DCM), a method used to combine the supply chain network with demand. Ian Preece, Meridian Energy strategy development manager, knowledge and enterprise systems, says his company is working with a DCM system. Preece says it is important to prepare for a DCM system by developing a long term plan and identifying the perceived benefits.
