Melbourne IT rejects bigger stake in .biz.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- Internet domain names company, Melbourne IT, is to keep its stake in the NeuLevel "dotbiz" (or .biz) registry at 10. Chief executive, Adrian Kloeden, has told the Australian Stock Exchange that Melbourne IT will not increase its stake because of current uncertain global conditions. He says, though, this does not reflect a lessening of confidence in NeuLevel, which was established under a joint venture agreement between Melbourne IT and NeuStar and which was then contracted by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN) to run the .biz registry.
