ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Government of South Australia is seeking ways of having Adelaide included as a destination on reinstated Ansett flights. A spokesman for the government said there had been talks with the administrators of Ansett over the Adelaide routes which the government considers profitable, particularly the one between Adelaide and Melbourne. The unions said Qantas should have leased Ansett planes and crews instead, but a deal along those lines broke down.
