Australasian Business Intelligence, November, 2001
Nov 2, 2001 (The Age
ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Securities & Investments Commission has revoked licences in the financial services industry. Jeffrey Braysich, the principal and director of Saxby Bridge Financial Planning and ABS Securities, has been banned from acting as an investment advisor for five years. The two companies have also lost their securities licences. Concerns over the investment advisory businesses were aired in a hearing in May 2001, while the Australian Taxation Office is conducting a test case on a tea tree investment scheme promoted by the companies.
