Hostworks acquires Interpath.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- South Australian managed services firm, Hostworks, has bought application service provider, Interpath Australia. Hostworks is the largest hosting company in Australia. Marty Gauvin, managing director of Hostworks, said that the acquisition would cost $A2.8 million. Interpath Australia was the only foreign subsidiary of the US-based Interpath. The acquisition of Interpath Australia will allow Hostworks to extend its services to Oracle systems. Hostworks will take over Interpath's data centre, located in Sydney, and a satellite operation in Melbourne.
