ABIX via COMTEX) -- High-profile Australian stockbroker Rene Rivkin has appeared in court on a charge of insider trading. Rivkin was not required to enter a plea during a brief appearance in the District Court of New South Wales. The charge is related to dealing in Qantas Airways shares. Outside the court, Rivkin again claimed he was the victim of a "vendetta" by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission.
