Australians take part in .NET framework design.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- Microsoft revealed that there were some Australians among the programmers who worked on developing new products for the company. Charles Sterling, .NET developer at Microsoft Australia, said that four programming languages for Visual Studio .NET and .NET framework were written in Australia. The new software was launched on 13 February 2002. Programmers who were involved in development of the software worked at Monash University, Queensland University and the University of Sydney. Sterling says that Australians have been quick in adopting new technologies and the latest Microsoft software is no exception.
