Emirates SkyCargo joins Maersk Logistics.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- Emirates Airlines Skycargo has signed a global alliance agreement with Denmark's Maersk Logistics. Under the agreement, both companies will support each others' services. For Emirates, the deal means greater global airfreight volumes. For Maersk, it means increased air transport capacity and flexibility. Emirates cargo accounts sales manager, Mogens Debracy, says the deal creates "tremendous" synergies for both companies. Maersk Logistics managing director and CEO, Soren Brandt, calls the alliance an important step in the development of Maersk Logistics' airfreight services.
