Pineapplehead says Future is bleak.

Australasian Business Intelligence, February, 2002

Feb 13, 2002 (The Age

ABIX via COMTEX) -- Melbourne-based sports technology group, Pineapplehead, has increased its estimate of half-year losses. In a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange on 12 February 2002, the company said that its investment in television studio supplier, Future Reality, had suffered since the September 2001 terrorist attacks on the US. The market had expected the deal to increase Pineapplehead's revenue by 150 per cent. MD, Evan Kourambas, said the terrorist attacks and the slowing economy had led to a fall off in demand for the group's services. In 2001, the business earned $A12 million.
