ABIX via COMTEX) -- Six months after the terrorist attacks on New York's World Trade Centre, opinion is divided on the event's impact. In the immediate aftermath of the atrocity, the commonly-held view was that it had "changed the world forever". Griffith University's Dr Joseph Siracusa notes that the world focus has been on the aftermath of 11 September, so issues such as Russia's war against Chechen rebels rarely get media coverage.
