ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian Capital Territory (ACT) politicians are trading insults over the support of the Canberra Connect government information service. Former ACT Urban Services Minister, Brendan Smyth, accused the government of having withdrawn all funding from the service. ACT Urban Services Minister, Bill Wood, said that was "nonsense" and announced that a deal has been signed with IBM to provide technical support to the service.
