Airline's record loss.

Mar 13, 2002 (The Australian
ABIX via COMTEX) -- Europe's second largest airline Deutsche Lufthansa AG lost Xeu591m in 2001. In 2000 the airline recorded a profit of Xeu689m. The 2001 loss was well in excess of the Xeu374m expected. No dividend was declared which broke a precedent set when the airline first floated in 1994. Operating profit fell by 95 per cent for the period.
