ABIX via COMTEX) -- The new head of arts funding body, the Australia Council, is the deputy chairman of Coca-Cola Amatil. Australia Council CEO Jenny Bott says she is delighted with David Gonski's appointment, saying he is very well connected to both the arts and business communities. It is rumoured that Bott had a major falling out with the previous chairman, Dr Terry Cutler. Cutler resigned from the position on 12 April 2002.
