Intellect lifts Dutch focus.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian payment terminals company, Intellect Holdings, is finding the Netherlands a lucrative market. Its distributor, CCV Software, has placed a new $A3.6m order for a range of Intellect terminals, including Sapphire mobile terminals. This follows a $A1.2m Dutch order for Sapphire terminals in December 2001. Intellect and CCV have a current joint project to introduce micropayments in the carparks of three regions of the Netherlands, with plans to cover the other three regions by October 2002. Intellect shares have closed at $A0.58 on 22 April 2002, down from a high following the announcement of $A0.60 on 19 April.
