ABIX via COMTEX) -- It is possible to learn a great deal about a person by the type of vehicle they drive. In Australia, for example, the "user-chooser" usually drives a Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon that has been acquired from work. In Melbourne's South Yarra or Brighton, the "supercool" admire themselves whizzing around in BMW 3-Series or Saab convertibles. At the other end of the spectrum, there is the "mobile discotheque", usually a modified Subaru WRX or an early Commodore that can be heard approaching with a series of thumps from a considerable distance.
