Australasian Business Intelligence, June, 2002
Jun 17, 2002 (The Australian Financial Review
ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Securities & Investments Commission is seeking compensation from three ex-One.Tel directors. It initially predicted that it would seek between $A30 and $A50 million from the failed mobile telephone company's directors. Following examination by a PricewaterhouseCoopers forensic expert, the claim has been increased to $A93 million. The funds would be made available to creditors, via liquidator Ferrier Hodgson. The corporate watchdog is taking civil proceedings against Jodee Rich, Bradley Keeling and Mark Silbermann for breach of duties.
