ABIX via COMTEX) -- In April 2002, Commonwealth Property Office Fund bought a three-property portfolio from Pivot Group. Owned by Colonial First State Property, the fund has now appointed Jones Lang LaSalle to manage the three office blocks, which are under development for Phillips Petroleum, NRMA and Sons of Gwalia. Meanwhile, Commonwealth Property Investment Fund has merged with Colonial First State Wholesale Direct Property Fund to form the $A1.4bn Direct Property Investment Fund, which has under its umbrella Rockingham City, Midland Gate, office buildings in St George's Terrace, and a warehouse in Canning Vale.
