ABIX via COMTEX) -- Online recruitment agency CareerOne has decided to use the application service provider-based Recruitmanager platform. It was developed by Adcorp Australia. The deal is likely to lead to a merger of CareerOne, owned by News Corporation, with Adcorp's employment.com.au. Mark Webster, general manager of classifieds at News Corp, said CareerOne would start using the new technology by September 2002. Ian Rodwell, managing director of Adcorp, said that Adcorp's sites, employment.com.au, recruitment.com.au and jobs.com.au, would be redirected to CareerOne.
