ABIX via COMTEX) -- Victoria University's St Albans campus building has taken out a top architecture award on 14 June 2002. The university's online training centre won the Royal Australian Institute of Architects' Victoria Architecture Medal and the William Wardell Award for Institutional Architecture. The centre was designed by architectural firm Lyons. Other award winners include a steel residential house in St Kilda, the redeveloped Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the restored Royal Exhibition Building and "The Age" newspaper's new print centre.
