Tablets do little for computer fever.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- There were no real innovations at the 2002 TechXNY Expo. Tablet-style personal computers (PCs) were the talk of the technology trade show, which is held in New York over the summer. IDC's analyst, Roger Kay, said there was nothing vastly new in the PC market. Most products represented only incremental improvements. Microsoft showcased its new tablet PC and application software, as well as its Pocket PC Phone. Toshiba introduced its Magnia SG20 wireless home media device, while Samsung introduced its 24-inch, high-definition monitor.
