Companies sick of shoddy software.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- Nearly 80 per cent of 300 companies in a US study have agreed that information on software vulnerabilities should be published. Half of these wanted detailed descriptions. This is contrary to a push by Microsoft and others to time-limit exposure of security flaws. According to the director of security strategies for Hurwitz Group, Pete Lindstrom, this indicates how "fed up" companies are with poor software. The survey showed that few companies would change vendors, however.
