ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) has asked KAZ Group to provide explanations for a dramatic rise in trading volumes in Kaz's shares. KAZ shares has lost 50 per cent of its value since the
of April 2002 and closed at $A0.23 on 30 July 2002. Trading volumes rose from 638,000 shares on 19 July 2002 to 1.64 million on 24 July 2002, and to 2.69 million on 26 July 2002. The computer service company told the ASX that it did not know why trading volumes were unusually high. The company expects that its revenue for the 12 months to 30 June 2002 would be in line with forecasts.
