ASX links with InfoComp to distribute hub.

ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) has taken a further step towards the launch of FundConnect. The ASX has entered into an agreement with InfoComp, a software provider to fund administrator, to investigate how customers of InfoComp can access FundConnect, a processing service for fund managers, through InfoComp's Composer software. The ASX is hoping to have FundConnect operational by early 2003. The ASX is in competition with Ausmaq and InvestmentLink, who are planning to launch similar processing services for fund managers.
