ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Watch & Jewellery division of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy is "aggressively launching new products" in Australia. Most luxury retailers are reducing their marketing efforts. Mark Watson, the general manager of LMVH Watch & Jewellery, thinks cautious optimism can improve market share during periods of economic uncertainty. In August 2002, the firm has made Christian Dior watches available in Australia. It will launch Tag Heuer Sports Vision sunglasses at a public relations event in the snowfields. Watson says Australians are ready for high-quality sunglasses.
