Australasian Business Intelligence, August, 2002
Aug 27, 2002 (Company Director
ABIX via COMTEX) -- In 1995, the Karpin report concluded that Australian managers had less training that their US and English peers. A 2002 survey suggests that the situation is changing, with Australian managers ranking ongoing skills development as their highest priority. The survey was conducted by the Australian Institute of Management and Monash University. The 524 respondents cited the capacity to lead with trust and strong personal managerial skills as top-ranking concerns.
