Broadband Internet connections, being quicker at downloading, increase productivity. It also provides the convenience of continual access to a telephone line, compared with narrowband Internet connection. AT Kearney indicates in a mid-2002 report that broadband Internet connection in Australia has more than doubled in the past year.
