Baby boomers betrayed by their bodies.

New Australian research has shown that "baby boomers" are struggling to deal with ageing. Penny Cooper, a director of social research company Heartbeat Trends, said baby boomers had generally sacrificed having children to ensure they could afford to enjoy a responsible future. However, Cooper said disillusionment set in when the boomers realised they would continue to face job pressures and an uncertain financial future, and were responsible for ageing parents. Cooper said one of the biggest issues that shocked ageing baby boomers was how dramatically their bodies changed.
