Maxwell is new AFTA chairman.

The Australian Flexographic Technical Association (AFTA) has a new chairman. Andrew Maxwell, the group manager of printing technology at Amcor Flexibles Australia, takes the helm of the industry body. Maxwell started in the sector 18 years ago with Asahi Kasei as technical manager. He has been an active participant in the development of the flexographic industry since about 1987. Maxwell says his priority in the AFTA chair will be in promoting flexography as the best printing process for the highest forms of packaging.
