CEOs rate corporate social responsibility.

Brand image is a primary driver of corporate social responsibility, say global CEOs. According to a recent PricewaterhouseCoopers survey, 60 of CEOs believe the sluggish global economy did not diminish the importance of responsibility. The survey was conducted in conjunction with the World Economic Forum. Most CEOs saw social responsibility as something more than a public relations exercise. Most respondents also believed globalisation was a socially good thing, but were wary of the risks posed by anti-globalisation sentiment.
