Jones is the CEO of Rex, a new Australian airline that has been created out of the remnants of Hazelton and Kendell airlines. He says that the airline has enjoyed strong booking levels since its formal launch. Jones says that Rex is looking at a frequent flyer program that would enable Rex points to be redeemed on Qantas. Jones also says that Rex soon plans to launch a subsidiary travel company that would offer holiday packages to its regional destinations.
