Apollo Gold focuses on new vocation.

Nov 25, 2002 (The Australian Financial Markets Newsletter - INSTO - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Apollo Gold plans to launch an initial public offering (IPO) on 27 November 2002. Apollo Gold was previously a technology group known as Focus Technologies, which ceased trading in July 2001. Its shareholders approved the transformation to Apollo Gold in October 2002. Apollo Gold seeks to raise $A5 million from its IPO. It plans to use $A500,000 from the IPO as the final payment for its $A2.68 million purchase of the Laverton Assets. The assets, which cover six separate tenement areas in Western Australia, were acquired from Sons of Gwalia.
