CPI docks on ASX with strong debut.

CPI in Australia has made a strong debut on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). CPI is an investment company, which aims to construct a $A60 million marina and housing estate at Mount Martha, in bayside Victoria. On 20 January 2003, CPI opened trading at $A1.75 and finished at $A2.80. The trade gave the company a market capitalisation of $A49.39 million. CPI owns 40 of the proposed Martha Cove project, close to Mount Martha. The project consists of dwellings, 600 marina berths and 200 dry boat berths. The project is being organised by Marina Cove Pty Ltd, whose shareholders are a Singapore development company, Fish Developments, a private individual, and CPI, which has 40.
