Macquarie ProLogis Trust to raise A$196.5 million in priority entitlement offer.

Feb 16, 2003 (The Australian Financial Markets Newsletter - INSTO - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Macquarie ProLogis Management is raising $A196.5 million via a priority entitlement offer. Proceeds will go toward its acquisition of US industrial properties. The non-renouncable entitlement issue has a retail and an institutional and component. New partly-paid units will be issued on a one-for-two basis at $A1.08 per unit, with $A0.83 per unit payable on application. The remaining $A0.25 is payable on 27 June 2003. The institutional component is worth some $A157 million. It closed fully subscribed and was jointly underwritten by Macquarie Equity Capital Markets and UBS Warburg Australia.
