The deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Rod Carr, will step down in July 2003. A statement issued by the central bank on 3 March said he would take on a new role as CEO of Jade Software. Dr Carr was acting governor of the bank for five months after the sudden resignation of Don Brash. Jade, a software and computer systems development company, has announced its intention to list.
