Technology for soft TPO auto interior applications.

Australasian Business Intelligence, April, 2003

Apr 11, 2003 (Plastics News International - ABIX via COMTEX)

New technology developed by DuPont Dow Elastomers will enhance the use of its Engage modifier product. The compounding technology provides for a balancing "of processing and end-use performance" of polyolefin-based compounds that are used in car interior components. Richard Barker, a marketing executive with DuPont Dow, says that durability, UV-resistance and low fogging are among the characteristics of Engage that make it popular with automotive manufacturers, and that the new compounding technology will make it easier for Engage to be used in soft polyolefin-based compounds.
