ABC Learning Centres launches friendly bid for FutureOne.

May 12, 2003 (The Australian Financial Markets Newsletter - INSTO - ABIX via COMTEX) -- FutureOne shareholders have been advised to vote in favour of the ABC Learning Centres takeover bid. The offer, which is based on a price of $A0.62 a share, will exchange seven FutureOne shares for two ABC Learning Centre shares. If approved, the merger will make ABC Learning Centres and FutureOne the operator of 200 childcare centres across Australia. ABC's financial adviser for the takeover is Austock Corporate Finance.
