McPherson's sued over documents.

Adelaide businessman, Ian Brookfield, is suing listed industrial group, McPherson's, for $A20 million in damages. The action alleges that pumps, provided by former McPherson's subsidiary, Davey Products, had failed. Brookfield, whose waste water company collapsed, has been unsuccessful in various legal actions, going back to 1993. The new suit alleges McPherson's was "reckless and negligent" in failing to preserve records that Brookfield alleges would have proved the company knew of the pump deficiencies. McPherson's MD, David Allman, says his company will vigorously defend itself.
